Songwriting Works offers a range of award-winning programs including:

• Inter-active songwriting workshops for older adults, caregivers, and intergenerational groups
• Trainings for health and music/arts professionals
• Respite for family and professional caregivers

 

Founding director Judith-Kate Friedman & associates bring more than 20 years of experience to program design and facilitation. Expertise includes:

• Creative engagement for older adults including elders with Alzheimer’s Disease and other cognitive impairments
• Intergenerational songwriting and performance projects
• Life long learning and ideas for educators
• Inter-faith & inter-cultural programs that build bridges through music.

Concert and film presentations feature songs and back stories from Songwriting Works participants, age 4-100+. Publications, recordings, and films reach international audiences.

 

Judith-Kate Friedman and associates are also available for keynote addresses and consulting on program design, enhancing caregiver satisfaction, and building successful music and arts in health partnerships.
